Geoff Marshall - Managing Editor

After obtaining a physics degree from Imperial College, University of London, he worked as a computer programmer and on military and aerospace systems, before going into documentation and publishing. His experience in technical publishing extends back to 1978 and since 1986 he has been in technical journalism specifically. Latterly he has specialised in telecommunications, convergence, networking and security issues. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists.

Beginning a three year tenure as Labs Editor at VNU in 1991,
he was employed specifically to set up VNU European Labs to
provide an in-house product testing and reviewing facility for
the London office of the Dutch publishing house, VNU Business
Publications, which has many computer-related technology titles.

Since 1994 he has been an editor and contributor to many computer,
communications and networking titles, including:
