Digital Analytics Association's Global Membership Elects
2014-15 Directors and Officers and Jodi McDermott is the new President
The Digital Analytics Association (DAA) today announced its 2014-15 Board of Directors, the results of a global election held recently among the DAA members. This year there were five Board seats available, all for two-year terms: Brooks Bell, CEO of Brooks Bell; Casey Carey, Head of Marketing, Adometry at Google; and Michael Rappa, Executive Director, Institute for Advanced Analytics and professor, North Carolina State University, joined the board as new members. Incumbent Directors Eric Feinberg, Senior Director of Product Strategy, ForeSee, an Answers Company; and Jim Sterne, President, Target Marketing, were re-elected.

Music may factor in very few board meetings but it could be a new and crucial ingredient to corporate success according to one teacher who is setting out to change the face of team building forever.
Ukulele teacher, Lorraine Bow has taught several thousand people to play the Hawaiian instrument, including TV presenters Ant and Dec. She founded Musivate to bring people together through music, reasoning that those who make music together cannot be enemies.
Ms Bow said, “Team building as a concept is an incredible tool for managers and stakeholders looking to motivate staff, build closer bonds between colleagues and increase collaboration, productivity and ultimately profitability. But, many CEOs and employees alike feel a sense of dread at the very mention of the word.”

Channel Telecom, has announced the winner of its 2013 year-end incentive.
A Sony PlayStation 4 games console has been won by James Bradley, Managing Director of Carefree Communications.
This incentive scheme targeted existing partners with selling a modest amount of additional monthly recurring new business and the prize was one of the latest PS4 games consoles.

Resellers Find 58% rate Vendor Activity Key Priority
The study of UK resellers finds 58% rate vendor activity as a key priority and 31% are so focused on it that they don't partner with competitors.
UK channel providers over-reliant on vendors research shows 38% of resellers do not or will not collaborate with fellow service providers
UK channel companies are prioritising vendor partnerships over the lucrative opportunity of collaborating with fellow service providers, according to research from IT solutions and services provider MTI.
MTI’s independent survey of the UK channel revealed that providers’ key focus for 2014 will be vendor-funded lead generation, with 58% of respondents rating vendor activity as a key priority over the next 12 months.
