Cybersecurity Company, OneSpan, Launches Cloud-Connected Devices

Cybersecurity company, OneSpan, has launched Digipass CX, a range of cloud-connected devices. These new devices provide a solution that eliminates the need for one-time passwords (OTPs) to fight phishing attacks and improve security.

These new devices, offer secure remote updates to independent hardware. This cloud-enabled approach could be critical in a threat environment where enterprises must respond quickly to ever-more sophisticated attacks.

The devices allow users to, include fingerprint biometrics, to ensure the integrity of authentication in high-value transactions and agreements. These also allow a user to select from multiple authentication protocols – including industry standard FIDO2 and OATH. This cloud-connected device brings a higher level of assurance to the ever-growing problem of identity and credential theft.

Wacom makes move to become a global  Branded Business

Jeff Mandell, a global executive with extensive experience in computer peripherals, consumer electronics, mobility and software & services, recently joined Wacom’s executive team as EVP Branded Business. Wacom, the world leader in the interactive pen tablet market and global pen technology leader for smartphones, tablets and notebooks, recently reorganised into strategic business units and is strengthening its top-leadership team. In this newly created role Jeff Mandell will run all aspects of the branded business, which includes the Creative and Consumer Business Units. He will directly report to Wacom’s CEO, Masahiko Yamada, and oversee a global team of over 225 professionals across Americas, EMEA, Japan, Asia-Pacific and China that generates ~$400 million in sales.
