Webroot commits in EMEA with new Mansging Director

Webroot Entrusts EMEA Success With Security Industry Veteran, selecting a Director Based on Track Record of Leading High Growth Companies.

Webroot Software, Inc., a provider of security software for the consumer, enterprise and SME markets, has announced the company’s appointment of Nicholas Banks as Managing Director for the Europe, Middle East and African (EMEA) markets.

 He will be driving the overall business strategy, sales, marketing and channel management for both of Webroot’s growing consumer and enterprise business units in EMEA.

Banks comes to Webroot Software most recently from 2Wire where he was responsible for the rapid acceleration of 2Wires’ European business and expansion. Prior to 2Wire, Nick spent nearly 8 years at WatchGuard Technologies where he was instrumental in the dynamic growth of their EMEA business. His deep security and technology experience included tenure with CyberGuard, Computer Associates and Olivetti. Prior to that, he earned a commission in the Royal Marines as a 2nd Lieutenant.
