Samsung Electronics UK, a design and technology leader in consumer electronics and IT business solutions, today unveiled the fastest A4, digital multi-function printer (MFP) in the world. The MultiXpress 6555N is a high-performance, cost-efficient MFP which easily integrates with the entire range of Samsung’s printing solutions

The high-speed MultiXpress 6555N is designed for the printing, copying, scanning and faxing needs of small to medium businesses (SMBs) and enterprise workgroups to help employees work more efficiently. Its laser technology produces top-quality, professional prints. As of the world’s fastest MFP, the MultiXpress 6555N offers A4 monochrome print speeds of up to 53 pages per minute (PPM), minimising user time spent waiting for the printer and increasing business productivity.

The MultiXpress 6555N is well-equipped to meet the high-volume demands of a range of businesses, with a maximum monthly duty cycle of 250,000 sheets. This high duty cycle, combined with long-lasting printer parts, gives IT managers peace of mind with the reassurance that they need to replace parts less often and can rely on steady printer performance. The MFP comes equipped with network-ready features to ensure that multiple people across a company network can use the device simultaneously – reducing the cost to businesses in buying multiple machines.

In optional software platform available with the MultiXpress 6555N, JScribe™, makes it simple to build a customised package of Samsung printing solutions, enhancing the performance and cost-effective features of the MultiXpress 6555N for everyone in the company – from IT managers and procurement teams to accounting departments and individual employees. Via this platform it is possible to access Samsung SyncThru™ – a built-in tool which helps IT departments to easily integrate Samsung products with their current printers and MFPs, as well as remotely configure and manage the entire fleet of devices. 
 
 SmarThru™ Workflow, an optional upgrade on the platform, is especially useful for accounting, administration and order management departments as it digitises and sends scanned and faxed documents to multiple locations at the same time. This includes e-mail, fax, server message blocks, FTP sites and the Internet.

For individual users, Samsung’s SmarThru™ Office is a bundled solution which simplifies the management of scanned files by converting documents to a variety of formats, before sending them directly to named folders on an employee’s desktop.
