Gamma Launches Converged FTTC Broadband service
Gamma launches new Converged FTTC Broadband service
This latest addition to Gamma’s portfolio combines business-quality voice and high-speed internet access on Fibre-to-the-Cabinet Broadband service.
This is a great selling opportunity within the channel for resellers and dealers, enabling stronger ongoing relationships with their customers and enjoying significant financial rewards.
Stephen Proctor, Broadband Product Manager, Gamma comments: “This addition to our Converged Broadband product set will strengthen our Channel Partners’ quality proposition and open up new opportunities to sell voice and internet access. There are a number of options when it comes to convergence, such as network visibility, quality of service, resilience and security. It’s these kinds of issues that many customers consider to be of greater importance than saving money. Our Converged FTTC Broadband service will include support for 30 uncompressed G.711 voice channels, providing access to ISDN-quality voice and superfast internet access on the same circuit with end-to-end QoS to ensure voice quality is never impacted.”
Nick Thomas, Managing Director, RHM Technologies adds: “RHM has used Gamma Converged solutions at the high end of the market, using 100mb fibre leased lines for SIP Trunks and data, including for our own offices. We have also used Converged Broadband with Horizon for circa six users and below. Previously, there was a gap in the portfolio for the average SME; however Converged FTTC will now allow us to go after the SME market more aggressively with a single supplier for data, SIP and hosted telephony.”
Converged FTTC Broadband will include a Cisco router with a free installation option to help Channel Partners to migrate customers without any upfront costs.
