Ex-Ericsson Head of Sales & Business Development, joins Indigo
Telecoms services company Indigo Telecom Group has appointed Steve Northedge as Sales Director, as it continues to strengthen its senior management team to drive further growth across the UK and Europe. Steve joins Indigo from Ericsson, where he was Head of Sales & Business Development for EMEA, with responsibility for a product portfolio that included IP, Optical, Microwave and Broadband Access.
With over thirty years of broad industry experience in fast moving, high growth business, Steve has held a number of senior EMEA roles within customer service, business development and sales management at industry leading companies including Newbridge Networks, Cisco Systems and Redback Networks.
Commenting on his appointment Steve says: “Indigo has a reputation for the expertise and service it offers its customers, but many organisations still don’t know the scope and scale of what we do. A key part of my role will be to build awareness of the services we provide. We work with some of the biggest names in the industry, and have a carrier-class European Network Operations Centre (NOC), so we are well placed for the next phase of our growth and development.”
Part of the global Team Telecom Group (TTG), Indigo provides the complete suite of multi-vendor network support services to UK and pan European customers including 24 hour network management service from the 24 hour NOC centre, first-line and second line support, network installation and commissioning services to network operators, equipment vendors, utilities and public and private sector organisations. Clients include Alcatel Lucent, Huawei, Tellabs, Viatel, Interoute, Ciena, and Everything Everywhere.
