Jozef Dusza appointed as managing director to grow channel business nationwide in Poland

Zycko, A value-added distributor of IT solutions, today announces the opening of its first Polish office. This marks a continuation of the distributor's expansion in Europe.

The new Polish team will be responsible for growing Zycko's market share across the region, with a technology focus on storage, networking and cloud back-up solutions.

Jozef Dusza heads the new team as managing director of Zycko Polska.  With over twelve years' experience in the European IT industry, including a seven-year tenure as CEO of  back-up and storage specialist, S4E, Dusza will guide a team of ten staff at the Krakow-based company.

"After ten years with my previous company I was ready for a fresh challenge. This is the perfect opportunity to build on my experience in the storage and back-up industry. I am looking forward to developing a serious presence for Zycko in this part of Europe", comments Dusza. The staff currently includes five account managers, two pre-sales engineers and a marketing manager; an additional account manager will be appointed next month.

"The new team consists of some of the best networking and storage experts in the business", he continues. "We will be in a prime position to provide both pre- and post-sales support, delivering value-added services to resellers across the region. The main focus will be on growing the networking, storage and back-up sectors of the business."

Nick Moglia, group managing director in the UK and joint owner of Zycko after a recent management buyout, comments: "We are delighted to name Jozef Dusza as MD of our Polish subsidiary. With over a decade in the industry and previous experience with some of our own vendors, we are confident he is the ideal person to lead our development in the region. We are looking forward to delivering our extensive product catalogue and value-added services through greater local presence in Eastern Europe."
