The Emergency Office in a bag

Sonic-wall has launched  a new rapid-deployment business continuity solution for organisations of all sizes. Ultilising  a standard flight case and built around  TZ 190, the out-of- the-box Emergency Office provides users with fast, secure wireless Internet connectivity.

The solution connects to WemTel’s Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) smart telephone service and Global Management System, meaning a temporary office can literally be set up anywhere within the UK.  On a daily basis, businesses are faced with notorious delays in telecom installations and unplanned network outages.

The Emergency Office enables organisations to establish secure wireless broadband network access, instantly. For that reason, the Emergency Office is ideal for both small and large enterprises wanting the security of business continuity when other broadband options are impractical, too expensive or require unacceptable waiting times. Whether a construction business that needs a quick solution for gaining Internet access from a variety of different sites or temporary locations; a large organisation that requires a standby recovery service for emergencies, or a business in the middle of a new office move, Emergency Office provides a quick way to resume operations.

The Emergency Office connects to WemTel’s Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) smart telephone service via T-Mobile’s 3G and HSDPA network.  This enables users to operate using a number of features from WemTel’s enterprise-class system, including group calling, call divert, transfers, music-on-hold and optional voicemail-to-email.

Additionally, the solution offers a variety of optional features, including centralised management, monitoring,  reporting and VPN services via WemTel’s Global Management System. The system ensures all operations continue to run efficiently and provides the capability to divert existing telephone numbers and emails onto the platform.

The Emergency Office can be delivered pre-configured anywhere within the UK where sufficient coverage and contention is available. For more information,
