SATO makes strategic appointment

The addition of Kaz to the two-man Representative Director team provides a solid organisational structure, enabling an agile business strategy focused on global expansion and growth. Previously, Kaz has held sales, marketing and management roles of increasing responsibility in the SATO Group. His exceptional experience, passion for success and strong leadership makes him one of the ideal leaders for SATO to carry out the next stage of the Group’s development.
SATO increases its European Footprint with new Blue star agreement
SATO, an international leader in barcode labelling and printing solutions, has announced a pan-European distribution agreement with BlueStar, the leading global distributor for Auto ID, POS, Mobility, RFID, Digital Signage, and ID and Security technology solutions. The announcement will provide SATO with an increased footprint across Europe through an increased reseller base.
Because BlueStar maintains warehouse storage and logistics throughout Europe, the agreement means resellers will have a greater ability to offer their customers complete data collection and labelling solutions from a single source without long lead times. This availability allows resellers to return an excellent margin by using BlueStar to source their SATO products.
Commenting on the partnership, BlueStar Vice President of Global Distribution Bill Nix said: “We are pleased to collaborate with SATO as their strategy fits into our in-country sales and support model. BlueStar will distribute SATO products in the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway), Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Iberia (Spain, Portugal, Andorra), France and Italy.
